Some Gushing Gratitude

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am so utterly thankful for so many things this year.

First off, I am thankful to have an actual day off from the Wizard of Oz tour. No travel, no shows, just a day to watch the parade and enjoy life. Cracker Barrel, here I come!

I am super thankful to past Megan for choosing to outsource the Book Review tour for The Girl Without Magic. Way to go, past Megan, you saved me from a nervous breakdown!

I am beyond grateful for my awesome agent. He sent me the list of whom he’s sending one of my projects out to, and it’s amazing. It’s like my book is audition for book Broadway. Big names, big presses. He’s pushing for the big time with this project, and I am so thrilled beyond belief to have him in my corner. My agent’s the best!

I’m thankful for my husband. Not only for letting me curl up with him in his seat on the bus when I’m getting stir crazy and need to snuggle, but also because in between working on his music writing, he’s agreed to start his preliminary edits for my new manuscript. (I know, I am spoiled beyond belief.)

And last but never least, I am so thankful for all of you. If there weren’t people reading my blogs, reading my books, I would just be an actor with an overactive imagination trapped on a tour bus in Oz. Whether I’ve ever met you or not, you help keep me sane. You help keep me driven.
