A Year in Review
I can’t believe it’s 2020.
More than that, I can’t believe I survived 2019!
The close of 2018 shoved me out of the traditional publishing nest and sent me on my indie author journey.
2019 was a year of trial by fire.
In twelve months, I published:

Girl of Glass
Boy of Blood
Night of Never
Son of Sun
How I Magically Messed Up My Life in Four Freakin’ Days
Seven Things Not to do When Everyone’s Trying to Kill You
The Tethering
The Siren’s Realm
The Dragon Unbound
The Blood Heir
The Girl Without Magic
The Girl Locked With Gold
The Girl Cloaked in Shadow
Wrath and Wing
Ember and Stone
(Death of Day and Nuttycracker Sweet snuck in there as well)
That’s…a lot. A lot of work, a massive amount of hours, and more tears than I anticipated when I began this journey. Looking at that list makes me realize it’s okay to feel like I need a nap.
But it’s been worth it.
I’ve had more than 100,000 readers download my books in 2019. I’ve added thousands of newsletter subscribers to my readers community. I started the A Book and A Dream podcast and blog. I made some epic friends in the publishing world and connected with some of the most dedicated readers and fans an author could dream of.
2020 is set to be another massive year with more audio to come and some really awesome new books. I don’t know what the end of 2020 will look like. I have plenty of goals and plans, but I have yet to find a crystal ball.
The only thing I’m sure of is how grateful I am to be on this author journey, and how thankful I am to all of you for traveling this crazy road with me.
